In 1992, when President Carlos Salinas de Gortari released the banks from the property of the State, Mr. Del Valle acquired Banco Internacional, S.A. and founded Grupo Financiero Bital, where he was also the Chairman, CEO and main stockholder until 2001. In 2002 Grupo Financiero Bital was sold to Grupo Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation “HSBC”. In 2001 Mr. Del Valle and his kids created Grupo Empresarial Kaluz, S.A. de C.V. sholding, which he leads since then. Mr. Del Valle is very well known in the Mexican Business community as a distinguished banker and outstanding entrepreneur. During four years he was in charge of the Center of Economic Studies of the Private Sector, until 1989. During 1998, he was the president of the Mexican Association of Bankers. He has been appointed in two occasions Chairman of the Mexican Board of Businessmen. His first administration was from 1993 to 1995 and the second from 2003 to 2005. In 2010, CNN Expansión ranked him 23in the 100 most important Entrepreneurs in Mexico. He created the Foundation Kaluz, A.C., its main goals are to support education, sports, and housing for people with low income. Mr. Del Valle also participates supporting several cultural and educational institutions, such as Tamayo FoundationPrado Museum in Madrid and MOMA in New York.

Parsons, former Program Director of the Lean Enterprise Institute (LEI), recently left to form Value Stream Solutions (VSS), a consultancy focused on developing a number opportunities focused on lean transformation, acquisition and investment.
